Clearance Matters
Allow at least 18" (45cm) on each side and behind the simulator for comfortable entry/exit and ventilation. Motion platforms need extra clearance for travel range.
Power & Connectivity
Plan for 2-3 power outlets near the simulator. A dedicated 20A circuit is recommended for motion platforms. Consider ethernet for the best online racing experience.
Climate Control
Racing simulators generate heat from the PC and monitors. Ensure good ventilation or AC in the room, especially for enclosed spaces or extended sessions.

What are the dimensions of a Sim Coaches racing simulator?
The Sim Coaches Pro has a footprint of approximately 4.5' × 5' (1.4m × 1.5m). The Omega measures about 5' × 6' (1.5m × 1.8m). The Elite with full motion requires approximately 6' × 7.5' (1.8m × 2.3m). All measurements include the screen and seated position.
How much space do I need around the simulator?
We recommend at least 18 inches (45cm) of clearance on all sides for comfortable entry and exit. Motion simulators need additional clearance — at least 24 inches (60cm) — to account for the platform's range of motion during operation.
Can I put a racing simulator in a bedroom or apartment?
Yes! The Sim Coaches Pro is designed to fit in compact spaces. A room as small as 6' × 6' (1.8m × 1.8m) can work. Consider noise (especially with bass shakers) and ensure adequate ventilation for the gaming PC.
Do I need to reinforce my floor for a motion simulator?
